Community Manager

We are seeking qualified applicants for a Community Manager for a portfolio of of apartment
buildings, in Studio City, NoHo, Toluca Lake and Valley Village. Community Managers are
responsible for the overall operation and profitability of the communities. He or she will
attract, guide, develop and mentor a high-performing team, and will be responsible for
promoting and acting in accordance with our policies and values to ensure our culture of
workplace excellence is experienced by all team members.

Essential Functions:
· Manage and lead team members to achieve team success
· Demonstrate excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills
· Strategically plan and meet individual and community performance goals
· Consistently exceed sub-market occupancy and rent growth performance
· Ensure that team exceeds residents’ expectations
· Understand and comply with applicable laws (e.g., fair housing laws and employment
· Encourage individual and team accountability
· Provide timely coaching and feedback to assigned staff
· Create and communicate goals
· Understand the industry, competition, and market

· Take initiative to improve skills and job knowledge
· Attend and participate in company training programs
· Maintain a professional image at all times

· A minimum of three-five years’ experience as a property manager
· Extensive knowledge of and ability with Yardi Voyager and Rent Cafe
· High School Diploma or equivalent required; college degree preferred
· Recognized designation in property management is a plus (e.g, CCRM)
· Clear understanding of business concepts, processes and the principles of strategic
· Comprehensive knowledge and understanding of multifamily operations, including people
management, financial reporting, problem solving, sales, maintenance, and resident
